Cyanuric acid, also known as stabiliser, can influence the effectiveness of free chlorine and thus also the effect of water care or disinfectants. The degradation of water constituents is impaired as well as the germicidal speed.
The concentration of cyanuric acid can be determined with quick tests. To do this, the tablet is added to a water sample. A characteristic turbidity develops, which is measured optically with a dip tube. When analysing with the photometer, all that is needed is to add the tablet to a water sample and press a button.
